Shatta Wale granted bail! GHC10 million set for release

Big news for SM fans! Dancehall king Shatta Wale has been granted bail by EOCO under strict conditions. 

 

His media manager, Samuel Atuobi Baah (Sammy Flex), confirmed the update in a video, saying the artiste’s legal team and management are working hard to meet the GH₵10 million bail and two sureties for his release by Thursday, August 21, 2025.

 

Sammy Flex clarified the case is specifically about tax compliance on Shatta Wale’s yellow Lamborghini and his business activities—not any other claims flying around.

 

Shatta Wale voluntarily presented himself at the EOCO offices on Wednesday, August 20, along with his lawyer Cephas Biyuo, to assist in the investigation.

 

“Mr. Mensah is cooperating fully, and we are confident the matter will be resolved soon,” Flex added.

 

Management urges all fans and well-wishers to stay calm, avoid speculation, and trust the judicial process. 

 

They promised to provide updates as discussions with EOCO continue.
